As I understand it, dybbuks are the souls of dead people. Hillaey is alive, I think, so Dean's dybbuk couldn't be her wandering soul.
Could it be the soul of Lizzie Borden who "took an axe and gave her father forty whacks, and when she saw the deed was done, gave her mother forty-one"?
