Another senario could be many republicans are registering as a democrat so they can vote in primaries. Bush is the candidate for the republicans, no need to vote for him. I am registering as a democrat here in michigan so I can vote for Dean.

Voting for Dean? I thought everyone in Michigan was voting for Big Al. Is anyone coordinating this?

Republicans registering as Democrats to vote for Democrats is a dangerous strategy. Could be addictive. And as they say, be careful about what you ask for, you might get it.
