My liver has been downgraded from guarded to serious condition. It was viciously attacked by an unprovoked bottle of ethanol.

I have other plans and can't hang out around here tonight, but I hope everyone has a wonderful (and largely uneventful in terms of the color orange) New Year's Eve.

Can anyone tell me a good channel to put the TV on to catch the festivities?
I only leave FNC on and so don't know which of the cable or networks are having live coverage............
I didn't expect to still be up and awake, so I might as well turn it on!

In the Philippines, 22 dead and 500 injured by fireworks and drunken shooters.
In South Africa, revelers are urged not to pursue the tradition of tossing old refrigerators off tall buildings(!).
In north Georgia, all is quiet, the dog is enjoying a bun-size frank sans bun in the backyard under the stars, and there is a sleeping 2-year-old and peace on Earth.
Happy New Year!!!

Local channels like ABC, CBS and NBC should have the festivities. ABC has Times Square.

I'll bet it takes a few weeks for us all to write "2004", instead of "2003". Here in North Florida, my parrots are nodding out at 11:45 pm. They have no care about our calendar.

Thanks on the ABC/Times Square.
FNC bottom of the hour news said they would be carrying that live. I think I can last another 10 minutes or so - then I will change channels and call it a night!!!
