British Airways Flight Detained at Dulles Airport, Passengers Being Quizzed by Security

D.C. Fox affiliate WTTG-5 reported a few minutes ago that British Airways flight 223 has been detained on the tarmac at Dulles Airport, Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C.

The flight landed at 7:06 p.m. Passengers have not been allowed to deplane. Some family members waiting at the terminal were able to speak with some of the passengers via cellphone. They were told TSA and other security personnell are interviewing passengers and inspecting luggage.

Over two hundred passengers and crew are on the plane.

Did not question US Passport holders, just kept them on the plane. Questioned foreign passport holders.

Still calling it a "routine rescreen of passengers"

Four agents stopped one particular woman - asked why her husband was not on board that flight

all passengers were asked to show passports
US passport holders were not questioned.
All others were questioned
looking for 7-8 suspects, 1 person in particular

WJLA-7's Rebecca Cooper giving an update on WTOP. US passport holders not questioned, passenger says they seemed to be looking for one specific person. Repeated the background from BA about the seven or eight suspects and the questioning of the woman about her husband.
