I don't think Michael Moore actually believes all that B.S. he writes. If you ever listen to him talk in an interview, he's a pretty intelligent and clever fellow. He exploits a market niche of people that like to feel things instead of think. It's ironic that he made himself filthy, stinking rich by spewing Marxist philosophy, but there's a sucker born every miniute, and those are MM's audience.

Are you suggesting his whole rant is some sort of schtick?, meant to make Him money and earn fame?. Okay for the sake of argument I accept that as a possibility. But I think to believe that would be to give him too much credit for intelligence and savvy he just does not have.(imho) . I grew up and live less than a hour away from where Mr. Moore grew up and to me He seems like just another overrated bonehead from Genessee county.If you truly want to try something good that comes out of Flint try the halo burger. Unlike Moore , it lives up to its hype ;)

Not pure schtick, but close. He definately has leftist leanings, and I think he discovered early on that saying outrageous things appealed to an audience in a way that made him an icon. I think he keeps saying those things because he makes a market in saying them, not because he believes them, but becasue saying them yeilds him fame and fortune. I believe he's a capitalist, just like I am.

The difference between us is there are things I won't do or say to make a buck. I don't hold it against him though. He's exploiting a group of people that beleive things becasue they like to believe them and those beliefs are reinforce simply becasue they see them in print. Easy money for MM. I'd get sick to my stomach trying to exploit that market, (even if I could), but MM doesn't suffer that affliction so he laughs all the way to the bank. Truthfully, some small part of me admires him for it.

Thanks for the tip on the Halo burger. I'll look for it if I'm ever out there.
