"We've had a better relationship with this governor in the first month than we had with Gov. Davis in the past five years," said Sen. Joe Dunn, D-Santa Ana. "It's kind of politics the old-fashioned way."
Tell that to Nunez. :-\

"He's not afraid to be friends to the opposition," Wasn't there another guy a long, long time ago...
a fellow quite persuasive who was not afraid to show
a friendly and supportive side to folks not up to snuff?
As I recall, he, too, was treated bad for "all that stuff."
Don't get me wrong, I'm not comparing our new CA guv
to that fellow long ago, the very Prince of Love,
except to say, the same today is true in principle...
the key to warming frozen hearts is still to fill them full.

The Wounded Warrior Hospital Fund is in no way affiliated or endorsed by U.S. European Command, U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Europe or Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. The Wounded Warrior Hospital Fund Fund was created and is maintained by a few soldiers, airmen, sailors and Marines of the U.S. European Command because it's the right thing to do. Might be worth a special thread, must be very new, since they say only $5000 has been donated so far!
