If America still fought wars like men, then those savages would be quaking in their boots begging for peace and not to be wiped from the face of the Earth. Instead, we now fight wars like women - in a state of perpetual hostility, with no victor or vanquished.

So we bide our time and live in fear. Until they strike us again. For they are shielded by our compassion.

"For they are shielded by our compassion."

You hit the nail on the head.

What unmitigated Truth you speak.

So, welcome to the company of Eagles.

And now -- having unambiguously demonstrated your understanding that our nation is not presently engaged in a popularity contest -- how delightfully unpopular you will be.

[For as you know, they cannot soar with US Eagles who scratch with them thar turkeys!]
