Why is it that so many wise and clear-thinking Jews are taking the lead in our culture in calling the Church to be the Church! It is a truly remarkable situation. This fellow BoTeach, along with Lapin, Dr. Laura, Savage, Medved, Prager, and others are calling the Church back to the necessity and sanity of judging the world, and morality, by MOSES and Jesus, not the latest liberal fads and idocies of the day. Like Savage, this Rabbi is calling on the leaders of the Church of England to stop preaching moral hogwash and start standing up for the lives of the innocent. I say God bless them all. May they come to know that Christ loves Moses too and is the Loving King of the Jews who has shown mercy on billions of us "gentiles"

If there is one seminal thing for which the year 2003 should be remembered it is this: The year that the normally amoral game of politics trumped the usually moral teachings of religion.

How can the COE endorse and condone homosexual behavior and claim to be a moral teacher? If this isn't mounting evidence of what separation from apostolic teaching authority for 500 years can do, I'd like to know what it is...

1. I can't remember the source, but some prominent Christian (C.S. Lewis?) said that
he had more in common with a conservative Jew than with a liberal Christian (or words
to that effect).

2. The Jews who are fairly informed about history understand what happens to them
in countries when their Christians go off the path pointed to them
by their founder (Christ). Sometimes these evil-doers (still bearing the "Christian" label)
are almost as dangerous to Jews as atheists (e.g., Stalin).
Hence the enlightened self-interest in seeing their fellow Christian citizens
staying on the paths of righteousness.
