It's wrong to think that you don't use it. You benefit from a society that has a high education level. Insuring that all children in our society are educated is a civil duty of us all and we all reap the benefits.

I'm not concerned about the cost as much as I am about other factors like ...

• the blacklisting of Christianity within the schools
• teaching that all cultures and religions are equal
• learning at the rate of the slowest student
• Inefficiencies like standing in line offsetting any benefit from a professional teacher.
• The failure to use better alternatives like computer based training that can advance at a student's pace rather than the classroom pace.
