He's done an amazing job for conservatism. Depending on how conservatism is defined.

I think it is the voters who have done wonders for conservatism. GWB is just getting the credit since he's on top right now. The wave started in earnest in 1994... just two years after Clinton took office. Coincidence?

And history shows that teach317's candidate that she swoons over(whoever that may be) in 2000 won a 50 state landslide.

Sometimes teach, especially with your rhetoric of animus about Bush signing the partial birth abortion ban on this thread makes me think you are a NEA plant, playing the "disgruntled conservative" bit to the hilt, but you play it so over the top, that you have become a comedic characture of yourself.

The majority of the voters in the last presidential election voted for either Gore or Nadar. I think the voters as a group have done little for conservatism.
