WASHINGTON Listen to top federal energy regulator Pat Wood a tempting target for California politicians muse on the new administration of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger:
"I have to confess a little tinge of excitement when I heard the governor's inauguration speech," Wood, chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, said in a recent interview. "When was the last time I was excited about California?"
Now listen to Stanford University professor Jim Sweeney, a top advisor to the governor on energy matters: "We do better working with FERC rather than being opposed to each other."
Schwarzenegger's approach to the marketplace, Sweeney added, appears to be "very much consistent" with the view in Washington.

Thanks for the flag Willie. On principle, though, I'm not going to register at the Slimes just to read the whole thing.

This is verboten in Kalifornia. Adults talking to other adults like adults.
Oh! I forgot. Herr Davis is no longer in Sacramento causing these communication problems.
Hey is it wet where you Kalifornians live? The frogs and ducks are knocking at our doors wanting to come in out of the storm.

Hey, you guys are getting me all concerned down here in Sunny Southern California.
The Sun has gone behind the increasing cloud cover but no hint of any wind as yet.
This is suppose to just be a little storm compared to the one last week.

Check it out. It'sa coming.
You're in Flood Watch, per this Severe Storms map from WeatherUnderground.com. There is a lot of moisture in the Eastern Pacific stirring too. Our local Yahoo 5 day forecast just went to Wet on and off the next 5 days...

Davis used FERC in general and Pat Wood in specific as his own personal punching bags for years. Fortunately, FERC under its present leadership maintained a political tin ear and did what was just (kind of) rather than bow down and worship Herr Davis.
