Just Googling around, it seems to be a standard air-ground rocket size in the Soviet inventory. On helicopters (Hip, Hind) and fixed-wing ground-attack. I couldn't find a picture, but I imagine similar to our 2.75".

Not much use for anything but harassing terror attacks.
Great to get them off the street.
