What I find interesting ---- the Republicans had the majority or a good part of the Hispanic vote up and through the Reagan administration. They arranged a blanket amnesty and now are having to fight for all their worth for that vote. 80% of the hispanic vote went to Clinton --- which kind of proves that amnesty pandering isn't as helpful as it might seem at first. You'd think there would have to be no more pandering at all after the 80's amnesty --- but it's the reverse.
