The big Satan infidel is donating help to the Iranian victims. May be they should take our servicemen hostage again to assert that they hate America.

What are you talking about?
To: Khashayar
Do I have it right???
Is there only one muslim country on that list?
To: wallcrawlr; Pro-Bush; AdmSmith; McGavin999
Only Turkey sent workers, other countries like Suadi Arabia, U.A.E, Qatar and Syria just sent packs of helps.
It is fun to say that those Palestinian and radical muslim thugs didn't send even a condolence message to the Iranian people. But the Mullahs still support them!!!

There is a time and place for everything. We are talking about people dying by the thousands in an earthquake and we are talking to an individual who is brave enough to talk to us when he could get in very serious trouble.

Free Republic is fully behind our president's offer to help with the disaster. It's the right thing to do, and we hope everyone can accept it with open hearts. That is a true point.
To: Khashayar
I heard some pretty devastating news. The U.S. is going to send aid, but it seems the government of Iran has rejected aid in the form of rescue teams. I hope that information is mistaken.
To: MissAmericanPie
I think it is mistaken because right now, 146 American rescuers are in the city of Bam and they are helping the people.
The USA has the most rescue personnel among those countries who sent their workers to help us.

Khashayar,
My heart goes out to you and your countrymen. I cannot imagine the anguish of those who lost so much. My heart breaks when I see the parents grieving over their children. We are praying for you.
As for me, I was relieved when I read that we sent aid in the form of supplies and workers. I would've been very disappointed in our president if we hadn't. I wish there was something I could do, but since I am so far away from you, I'll keep praying for your people.
God bless, Khashayar. Thanks for this thread.

Reverend Tonk, maybe you could put together a meditative thread for the 20,000+ and their families...

That is a relief to know. There was an article on FR yesterday about a bull dozer being used to dig through the rubble, much to the horror of surviving family members.
If there is anything we can do on an individual basis please let us know.
To: MissAmericanPie
Why don't you make a call and donate?
To: philosofy123
You are out of your mind. How sad for you.
