Sudden drop, with an extremely loud boom, and concussion. Real fast, almost sonic boom like, audible, but the ground definitely dropped for a slip second.

Where are you, Joe? Here in the L.A. harbor I thought I felt movement, but no noise; almost like when an elevator stops. Maybe it was my imagination.

I am located south of you and the earth definitely dropped. It's was very short, loud, and seemed very powerful at our location.....
