This is the ugly truth behind the propaganda of immigration enthusiasts, who insist that illegal aliens are doing "Jobs that Americans won't do."

Do the pro-illegal immigrant dummies realize that not only will the illegals take the jobs that "Americans won't do" (and I disagree wholeheartedly with that premise, but I digress....), the illegals are taking the jobs that Americans WILL do, such as construction and trade jobs? Doesn't it stand to reason that if employers can get away with paying Mexicans less for vegetable picking, that they can also get away with paying Mexicans less for what used to be high-paying jobs, like framing houses and pouring concrete, installing heating and air conditioning? Do the pro-illegal dummies really think that employers in THOSE fields aren't going to take advantage of all that cheap labor and shut out the American workers?

Are they really as stupid as they appear to be?

When someone appears that stupid, there's usually some self-interest at work. Smells like a class war to me.

As long as reciprocity is the goal of Senor Fox and Senor Bush, the US should insist that Mexican laws should be amended to allow Americans to own property in Mexico and be entitled to all the benefits that the pachukos enjoy here. What is good for the goose should be good for the gander. Upon talking to various retirees that have visited in Mexico, the living costs down there would be attractive to the aged if the Mexican government would allow them to own their own property and provide for their health needs.

Tut, tut. 'War' is such a harsh word.

Whatever 'interests' want the government to do on their behalf will be done. That's the entire brief, reach and essence of modern governance.

Ancient governance, too, for that matter. ;^)

Only during the brief interregnum of American Constitutional government was it ever any different for suffering mankind.

Happy New Year!

It is a war against the middle class, law-abiding, tax-paying American lead by Republicans and demoRats alike.

Neither party gives a rats a$$ about the damage they are doing to their fellow countrymen, they are too busy counting the increased profits from illegal alien labor in the Repub's case, and the potential millions of new voters in the Rat party case.

Oh yeah, and the public be damned, let them eat cake, etc.
