While I agree that the Dems are comedic in their presentation, I am concerned with the repetitive mantra of "No War for Oil".

I am concerned that this is being soaked into the American sub-conscious so that should the day arise when we may actually have to have a war to defend a supply of oil, the support may be diminished.

Of course, I hope we will see this election take the energy issue and ram it down the Dems throats.

They oppose all reasonable plans for a national energy strategy that would avoid another blackout.

They oppose energy independence in the form of drilling in ANWAR.

They oppose energy distribution and production facilities regardless of where they are located.

The Democrat Party is the party most opposed to energy.

And they do not want to go after SA as we don't either. That is where the people came from. Interesting is it not? US runs the oil in SA and they deal in Am dollars. Both parties are for friendship with this bad ruler. Frankly I am getting sick of these awful rulers that we are in bed with. It has been trouble for us for 50 years with both parties.

Something to ponder. If we came up with cheap energy extracted, say, from water or dandelions, whatever...the Middle East wouldn't have anything to sell the West. They'd be humiliated, furious, declaring a Jihad against the Great Satan, etc..(Sound familiar?) Kerry probably wants us to make nice with the terrorists, give in to their ridiculous demands, and 'give peace a chance'. He doesn't get it that these whackos don't have anything to live for. They'd rather go out with a bang. We have to hammer them into submission, then teach whatever's left a productive way to live and prosper.

IMO, that war, should it come, would better be condcuted against those domestic forces that keep us from porducing our own.

But, in reality, that would mean against both the Dems and the Republican forces. I've seen no genuine effort by anyone to break our dependance on foreign oil (in favor of domestic oil). But, of course, breaking our dependance on foreign supply would just be considered 'protectionism' by most.

We can battle this with a mantra of our own, pertaining to the Democratic Party's "War ON oil", or "War AGAINST oil".

Another counterpunch would be..."The Dow-Jones closed at XXXXX today, marking a XX% increase since John Kerry (or whoever)annointed the Bush economy 'the worst since Hoover'".
