Well, things worked out exactly the way I wanted today. The Pack won, the Vikes lost, and the 'Boys lost. So now both Seattle and GB are in, and the Vikes (who started the season at 6-0) are out. Perfect. Minnesota probably pulled off one of the biggest choke-jobs in NFL history, both in this season and in today's game.

I'll be watching Mike'd Up in 90 min.

Ha -- How 'bout that?? The Vikings choked a la Giants -- can you believe how they lost? Giving up a hail-mary 4th and 25 with 4 ticks left after an on-sides kick?? Whoa! That was even sicker than how the G-Dogs lost in SF last year!

Who'da thunk? The Pack wins the division after Minny goes 6-0. You knew they were pretenders after the Giants whupped 'em. And at least you get some local excitement with Seattle winning. BTW, have they EVER won a playoff game? I recall Ground Chuck with Kreig, Largent(?), Curt Warner getting to the dance but falling short.

I did happen to catch Mike'd Up last night w/Mike's Radio partner, Chris "Mad Dod" Russo. Good show. I liked Mike's 'Worst Moments': Yanks losing the Series; losing Pettitte...At first I didn't quite understand one of his "best" moments: The resurgence of the Cowboys??? Then I remembered -- He was always close with Parcells, so this was his way of kissing his @ss.

You know, I felt kind of bad for Fassel. Let's face it -- overall he exceeded expectations for what he had to work with during his entire 7 year tenure. Unfortunately, I can't help believe that management short-changed him on budget for BOTH players AND coaching staff -- causing the deterioration of talent and guidance.

One last thought -- can you believe the Rams blew home-field advantage to the Lions?? I just hope the Eagles don't go anywhere.
