Days before 9/11 a key Northern Alliance leader was killed. He would have been a key ally when we went after UBL and crew.
Two attempts have recently been made on Pakistani Pres. Mushareff. If UBL is still in Pakistan, we need Mushareff's help to get him.
I see similar circumstances leading up to another big attack.

They are mistaken, however, in the same way that they were mistaken regarding Halfgonistan.

Yep. Or as I predicted here, at this point if we hear of a 3rd attempt to assassinate Musharraf, then we can be assured that the "Son of 9/11" attack is still on and imminent, despite the probable setback that occurred on Christmas. But if there is not another assassination attempt, then that'll be an indication that they've pulled back to regroup at a later date.
