It would be interesting if the French/American spat over details of the Air France debacle, as in 'we released everybody, what's your problem?', were really a clever plot hatched by both countries to confound the enemy and make them feel secure, etc., so we could round up everybody. But the French have such a long, nasty record of treachery. If we want to survive, let alone win, we have to practice real politik come what may, no matter whom we 'offend'. PC crap has to go. Trust no one, and when we find Bin Laden, blast him right between the eyes. We're unbelievably lucky we have adults: Bush, Cheney, Rice, and Rumsfeld in charge.
