Thank you for posting this. I took the time to read the entire article, and I felt that those involved in these battles deserved it.
Prayers for all our people in Iraq.

Outstanding
I was a "war hero" in Somaila (grin) and this was a great read
Actually I was a squid on a carrier 4-miles offshore, fresh milk, hot showers & such while the Army died because Bill Clinton denied the Army the armor they requested.
Again a great read and a great example of the fluid nature of warfare

I had no idea it was such a near thing.
I hope we do not now think such tactics will win any war. If this were tried against even a minimally competent army instead of a rabble of wild eyed ragheads, they would have been cut to pieces in hours.

Thank you for posting this. It was hard to read in parts, but I thought it was important to understand what these heroes went through. God Bless them.

Always love a good ''Are you kidding, sir?'' story!

The amazing heroes that accomplished the Thunder Run kinda make the whole Jessica Lynch saga look rather rediculous, eh.
Where are their million-dollar book deals?
These guys made history and transformed military strategy for years to come with their incredible skill and bravery.
Oh wait a minute, they don't have blonde hair and vaginas. Nevermind.

My G-d. How do we find men like this? We are so very lucky to have such brave, smart men defending us and freeing Iraq.
Godspeed to them all.
