It's a lot more insidious than that -- it has more to do with hardcore leftists who believe that we, somehow, got what was coming to us and that offing this guy would be as bad as what he did, which we somehow inspired/compelled him to do anyway.
I'm talking about people who live and/or work(ed) in Manhattan on 9/11/01. These are people from my old office who were in a panic that morning because 2 execs from our office were on planes and I was M.I.A. (I live very near the WTC site).
GOP Chick, I know exactly what you are talking about. There are people like that here in Portland who gleefully point out that the US is a racist, imperialistic country which got its just desserts on 9/11. I just cannot believe there are people in your neck of the woods who lived through that day and live near that hole who would think like that. Must be RDDBs.
