The Republic has ended.

We are in that delicate stage, where we must decide whether we will unite under the first King/Emperor, or dissolve into several nations and perhaps further.

All the great families and power players know this, intuitively, whether they realize it or not.

By 2010 we will either be on the march to an American world, or we will be at war, in this nation.

Thanks, and to the others who were kind enough to comment.

I agree.

The Republic is dead.

I don't really know what to do about it. I guess the question will present itself at some point in a way that will be hard to avoid.

As for me, I purchased a few years ago a hideaway way, far up in the mountains where neighbors are friendly and they all seem to own highpowered hunting rifles. My family and I still live in a big city, which I'm wondering is a very good idea, but it's where my work is, so I'm risking it.

A word to the wise.

I don't know when the fertilizer will fly into the ventilation. I do believe that we came closer to the crunch in the 2000 presidential elections than most would care to admit, but that's speculation.

Warmest regards to all.
