That is an excellent post! And it makes a lot of sense. I don't hate illegal aliens. I understand their state of poverty as I know what it's like to be proverty-stricken. We have a lot of poverty-stricken people in the U.S. Those Americans who have families to feed and mortgages on their homes have much to lose when they lose their jobs due to their employers downsizing costs so they can hire cheaper labor or move to another state or country. This is what weakens a country not strengthens.

What bothers me is that many of the banks finance illegals homes, i.e. HUD, for the purpose of red-lining a neighborhood to bring down the property value of the rest. I'm not saying that all illegals bring down property value but I have seen them in nice neighborhoods with goats, pigs, and other animals that belong on a farm, just lounging outside the house. They have these metal fences that makes it look like they are building a fort. As a result of this, many neighbors have had to call the building inspector to come out and issue notices to the illegals to tear down the fence and get rid of the farm animals as they are not permitted according to city ordinances.

"I don't hate illegal aliens. I understand their state of poverty..."

I agree...it ain't about hating anybody or wanting to shut folks off from the American dream, but we cannot continue to reward those who so wantonly flout the laws of this nation!! There are many more folks who want to be American citizens than we can afford to let in at any given time, but there are lawful ways to accomplish such a goal, and we will be penalizing the law-abiding if we offer up another amnesty program fer the law-breakers!!
