DENNIS ECKERSLEY VOTED INTO THE HALL OF FAME

Dennis Eckersley, one of baseball's elite relief pitchers
of all-time, was voted into the Hall of Fame on Tuesday.
The right-hander's 390 saves ranks third among all closers.
Eckersley won both the MVP and Cy Young Award in 1992 and
was a key in Oakland's 1989 World Series title.
