Just curious....is this a norm for the Government with a Thursday Christmas? IOW, is my tin foil hat shiny enough? Don't know .. but it sure does raise an eye brow

I've never worked for the government - at least not that I know of - but have worked for companies that will, at the last minute give the next day off because they know you won't be doing jack all day long except for complaining about having to work. *g*
