It's not clear what Bush is going to do - and the White House is unenthusiastic about the "Legalization" part of the plan for illegals.

But go ahead and protest just to make sure Congress doesn't pass some sort of Amnesty - but don't think the end of the World is coming either.

Remember the House GOP was ready to outright reject the original Amnest plan in August 2001 before 911 killed the idea.

No an amnesty would not mean the end of the world, not even close. But the old Republic as we've known it would be gone forever as millions upon millions poured in. Thanks to the family chain the amnestied alone could bring in God knows how many of their relatives. This is very bad news to hear that Bush has set his sights on such crappy legislation. But the fight has just begun.
