The author of "Gov't Waste A to Z" says it is more like 54% in a state like NY but I digress...

John Kasich was a spending cutter becasue the thought of a 82% marginal tax rate for his kids when they grow up because of Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security scared him.

Oh well, Da, no one listened to him (read Bob Dole screwing up Newt in 95') and the spending marches on.

Unless the untitlements mentioned get under control, we are potentially looking at according to Ramesh Ponorru from National Review, Massive Inflation or Devaluation of the Currency. I think facing 82% tax rates future 20 somethings will stop working and party, or perhaps something worse like intergenerational strife might occur.

Former Congressman Coleman has a book out that addresses these issues as well. Let us hope for men and women of courage to make the decisions that are needed to correct this spending situtation in the future.

I'm wondering when the ACLU will begin to sue churches for ringing the bells for service on Sunday. I do believe it will happen.

I am more convinced all the time that the ACLU and its associate, communist organizations are like sharks in a feeding frenzy....feeding off of our liberties. You don't keep throwing bodies in the water to get rid of man-eating sharks. It makes no more sense to keep throwing our liberties to the political sharks in an effort to placate them. Sharks do what they do. It's their nature and nothing we can do is going to change them, but we can STOP FEEDING THEM!

Oh, I don't know. I tend to see red as being alive with passion and blue as lifeless and bloodless....kinda like vampires.

Liberals suffer from pathological projection. They only make the accusations they do because they assume that we think the same way they do.
