In light of O'Connor's recent actions on sodomy, affirmative action, and campaign finance, yes. Those actions also make practically any thinking, competant, and reasonably well learned conservative a better credentialed constitutional scholar than O'Connor.BUMP for honesty. There are only FOUR conservative justices on the current US Supreme Court.

I think there are only three: Rendquist, Thomas and Scalia.
Don't let Kennedy's position on a few recent decisions fool you. He is as vacillating as O'Connor and as trustworthy as a hot rattlesnake. I'd put Kennedy and O'Connor in the same boat - failed conservatives.
As for the others, they don't need a Constitution - they make the laws as they go along.
