That's the least they should do...

This is just a symptom of a larger problem, I suppose.

Once you have a dog with known aggression (especially towards children) the only alternatives are (1) keep dog restrained at all times (2) put it down.
As soon as I read the headline, I knew it was the same dog.
She let her sentimental feeling for her dog overcome her common sense. I'm surprised, because she's pretty knowledgeable about horses at least.

This breed has a problem (the Windsors, not the dog.)

It just occurred to me: What if this had happened among *gasp* common folk?!?

Sorry about that. I did a search for "queen" and came up with nothing relevant.

When will this maddness end?
To: NativeNewYorker
Princess Anne should have known better. I always kindof liked her for her terrific riding. Guess I kindof assumed she would have some sense with animals.
Will be a quiet Christmas at the palace this year.

Bull Terrier = Pit Bull, if I'm not mistaken Just remember that it's not the dog's fault. Bad owners who mistreat these dogs are to blame. {/sarc}

Heh.... We said the same thing.... see my 15!

Actually, it's not the exact same article, although I certainly agree that no new information is covered in this article.
So sad. An old lady loses a longtime doggie companion. I'm a dog lover, and I certainly don't feel sorry for the Royals over much, but I do here.
