Surface-to-air missiles have been deployed by the Pentagon to many of the cities most likely to be targeted.

In the fifties and sixties, this was de rigeur. We had fixed air defence sites around our major metropolitan areas (in the fifties there were even AA guns, like Berlin in WWII).

When ballistic missile defence is ready, it will certainly be deployed and stand on guard like the Nike-Herc, Nike-Ajax, and Bomarc (among others) did in bygone years.

Do you really think it's still possible to hijack an airplane? I don't give a damn if they've got UZIs with them. If they can still pull off hijacking a plane full of passengers given what we know about what happened on 9/11/2001, then this country no longer deserves to exist, because its people have become mindless and worthless drones incapable of rubbing 2 brain cells together.
