IIRC, this trial was only for one person.

Federal charges can also be filed since he killed an FBI employee.

can he be charged in another state for one of the murders?

By golly, I'd forgotten those. Wasn't at least one in Louisiana?

UNBELIEVABLE. Once again, I'm thankful I'm not watching TV for this shame on the American IN-justice system but read it here on FR. What does it take to wake this country up that there are really some scum who do NOT deserve to live?

Is the judge bound by the jury recommendation? Or is the jury verdict the final sentence? (Though I find it hard to believe the judge would supercede a life sentence for death, it would seem more likely a judge would lessen a death recommendation...)

He still has other charges in Washington state, Maryland & more counts in Virginia--plus federal court.

Be nice if we could find he did something in Texas.

Given his letter about trying to escape if he's in general population, he's going to spending his time in a super super max.

But Alabama is drooling for a shot at Malvo and Muhammed.

Life in prison.
He'll be out in 7 years or sooner.
Free to kill again.
And smarter and well fed.
Thanks to taxpayer money.

I'm somewhat surprised by this, but other states will want a crack at him (and maybe Muhammad, too) which will help get more of the truth about them out in the public record.
