Why, some of the Islamic groups actually want the whole world to be one big Islamic state, don't they? Why not give them the whole world.

I think they haven't killed enough people yet. But, if they do kill enough people, or come close to doing so, we might indeed have to start Asking Ourselves Why They Are Killing So Many People, and consider that maybe "the fact that the whole world isn't one big Islamic state yet" is the reason, and then change according. Better Islamic than dead.

That's how I understand the logic, anyway.
