Many politicians seem to think the answer to every alleged problem is higher taxes. Howard Dean, for instance, has said he would repeal the Bush tax cuts

I would say we have nothing to fear, but now that we have been sold out by the republicans on illegal immigration, I'm not so sure.

I would say we have nothing to fear, but now that we have been sold out by the republicans on illegal immigration, I'm not so sure. You can count on both parties selling us out on international taxation. A worse danger than the traitorious class known as politicians, is the total apathy and ignorance of Joe 6-pack who won't care or protest so long as the football game is on and beer is cheap. The < insert cursing here > politicians know they can get away with ANYTHING now.

Regarding permanent taxing rights on emmigrants, I believe the USA already claims taxing rights on US emmigrants for 10 years. There is no enforcement unless you return to the US though. This would change that.

Another reason we should worry: The U.N. is just one of several international bureaucracies working to undermine fiscal sovereignty.....actually, I would be concerned more about the national bureaucracies working to undermine fiscal sovereignty. Like the Democrat Party for example.
The only way the UN would be able to impose this upon us is if we let them.
Now, simply think of what groups of people would let them. The real threat will materialize right before your very eyes.
