Remember, that means no NBC, CNBC, MSNBC, ShopNBC, SciFi Channel, Trio or USA channels.

GE won't be gone too long though. Boycotting Paul Harvey is a great way to insure lower profits. It's insane to pass up the number of consumers he reaches.

GE terminated their engineering departments in Cleveland on a Friday afternoon some 20 years ago, they invited the employees to stay with them if they worked through a (temporary agency) called matsa(?)OWNED BY GE, same pay, no benes. Some took the offer, and left as soon as they found a better paying job.

I know designers that went through that and today they refuse to buy anything GE, including lightbulbs.

Yeah you will- it just may not have the GE brand name on it. Unless you are an eskimo living in an igloo, it is impossible to live in America without using GE products, they are ubiquitous. Turn the lights on in your house - somewhere in the power grid GE products are at work. Just about every aspect of modern life involves GE products at some step.

Though I agree that people are free to boycott whatever they want, for whatever reason they want, a boycott against GE will go nowhere. But send them letters and complain anyway if you have the time.

I'll go you one better. I'll search my house and get rid of everything I find with GE on it. From lightbulbs to radios.

And as soon as I find a proper web site, GE will be hearing from the other side. They have no idea!
