I don't know. I would rather have something practical for Christmas myself. I gave my dad a screwdrive for Christmas one year (I was a really great screwdriver) and he kinda looked a little disappointed. Later in the year he was telling me what a great screwdriver it was. One year when my husband asked me what I wanted I told him I wanted a glue gun. I still have that glue gun. Very useful. Then there was the year I gave everyone shims for Christmas. Never can have enough shims is my motto.

Never can have enough shims is my motto. Yes you can! I only needed a handful to put in a door but had to buy the 50-pack at Home Depot. What am I going to do with the other 45?

I'm with you. Practical gifts suit me just fine. If my husband gave me jewelry, I'd be disappointed because it's nothing I want, need or would wear. Give me something I can eat or with which I can cook, garden or do home repair, and I'm happy!
