This alert has me on edge also. I sense real concern by the Bush Administration this time around and I believe they have good reason to raise the terrorist alert this time. Especially being so close to Christmas, one of the busiest times of the year for travel and commerce - they wouldn't do this lightly.

I also find Gaddafi's recent willingness to discard his WMD program very suspicious. I get the impression that he knows something major is about to happen and wants to take measures to ensure that he is not included in any U.S. military response. Hence the sudden "williness to cooperate."
