It looks like the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists is showing liberal bias. Several times they use the word "Stinger" (a US missile) as if to suggest that US arms proliferation is the problem. But I've never heard of a civilian aircraft downed by a Stinger.

The Russian/Chinese designed SA-7, however, is ubiquitous in terrorist circles as is their RPG-7 and AK-47. Some of my leftist friends believe America is the arms supplier to the world. But more than 95% of Saddam's arsenal came from the East.

The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists is full of it sometimes and yet other times they're a good source for information. They should stick to "atomic" issues instead of trying to be experts on everything.

I do like the "Doomsday Clock". I expect it to bet set @ 1 second to midnight when Bush is reelected.
