The United Nations, for instance, wants to create an International Tax Organization (ITO) that would have the power to interfere with national tax policies. Let's see...they want to leave dictators in power; they want to control the Internet; they want to revoke the Constitution of the United States of America's Second Amendment; and now they want to tax us?
If the U.N. is trying to foment an armed revolt against their presence in the United States, they're certainly going about it the right way...

This is not news. They want to impose a firearms and ammunition tax on those nations which allow the private possession of firearms. The UN wants a worldwide property tax. And of course, an energy tax. But of course, no one cares. The sheeple will not bleet loudly, until it's too late.

The time has come for us to get out of the U.N.. The only thing they do for us is take our money. Our Government had better wake up and get us out before it is too late.

What would happen, say, if Howard Dean were president when the U.N. was voting whether to create an International Tax Organization? Could we trust him to veto this nutty scheme? In a word: no.

If you throw enough s**t against a wall something will eventually stick. This exemplifies the level of idiocy these people have when it comes to economics. I can't imagine what Kofi annan's vision for teh future is. I wonder how that guy pictures the world in 75 years. They are architects of stagnation.

The United Nations does NOT stand for either life or liberty. They are nothing but a leftist-legitimized collective of tinpot dictators who want a means to boss around the only remaining superpower and defender of liberty in the world.
U.S. out of U.N. (and vice-versa)!

We essentially pay them to come up with ways for hamstringing America.

An international tax organization, of course, would mean higher taxes and bigger government. Indeed, U.N. officials have been quite open about their intentions. The chairman of the U.N. panel that first endorsed the creation of an ITO said that it would take a lead role in restraining tax competition. According to this mentality, its unfair for America to have lower taxes than places such as France and Germany, especially if it means that jobs and investment flee Europes welfare states and come to America This is idiotic. First of all, jobs are created by businesses and commerce. The governments in France and Germany provide health care for all their citizens which in turn makes it a lower cost for businesses (they don't have to provide it).
Excessive taxation allows governments to subsidize whole industries and promotes dumping (selling products below their cost to capture market share and destroy competition).
If Kofi and Co want to make markets fair they should limit taxation and government, not seek to expand it. No country (or union of countries) has ever taxed itself to prosperity.

Kofi's vision of the future is a 75% plus taxation rate on the U.S.

Higher taxes are the answer to everything, don't you know - tax and spend, tax and spend, tax and spend.
On the other hand, cutting taxes and spending isn't a surefire bet, either. Cutting taxes and cutting spending is pretty logical.
On the subject of the UN, they, personally, can kiss my ass.

This is freakin' nuts...we need to KICK the UN out of the US and get the US out of the UN!!!
I am so sick of their girly men.

They can move the UN to Jerusalem...let's see how long they continue to define terrorists as "freedom fighters" when their members get blown up.

But SOME of us "Sheeple" will resist this "Power-Grab" BEYOND the "Power" of the Illegitimate "UN!"
The American People have NOT "Endorsed" the "UN!"
This OBSCENE POWER-GRAB by the "UN" is NOT sanctioned by the American People.
This OBSCENITY is MORE THAN SUFFICIENT JUSTIFICATION to REQUIRE that the "UN" move to a location OUTSIDE the US--& NOT "Involve Itself" in Affairs of the US!!
The UN is NOT ONLY IRRELEVANT,--it is an ACTIVE OBSTRUCTION!!
The "UN" should be "Removed to" a "Location" more "in Keeping" with It's Behavior,--Bangladesh, or Cameroon, or the Philippeans, or Mozambique, or Zimbabwea, or Cyprus,--etc.etc.etc....
The "UN" has LOST any "Credibility" in America--It Should GO!!!
