WEST PALM BEACH, Florida (CNN) -- As attorneys for Rush Limbaugh went to court Monday to try to keep his medical records out of the hands of Florida prosecutors, there have been negotiations on a possible plea bargain for the conservative talk show host, according to a spokeswoman for his radio network.

Then, after Arnold was elected, he tried to make nice-nice with PKM. Howlin, expect him to be rude and sanctimonious with you here in public, but the little squish will write you quite another thing in FR mail. I will bet the house on it!
Well, my answer was only slighty tongue-in-cheek; but with enough truth to make my point -
. . .but I might ask you the same as to where you hail from. "Nothing but a talk show host?
Rush is surely an entertainer; but he is serious when it comes to politics; and I would offer that Rush has educated more people; awakened more people; that otherwise might never have gone 'there'. . .to the good/bad and ugly of a political life; most often channelled into our mainstream through a Liberal medium - so to speak.
Yes, I think Rush's contributions are a damn good public service; and by honest capitalism; he gets paid for his 'contribution'.
And he pays taxes; all to the 'good'; and does not even save his worn out underwear for a tax deduction as is the custom of our good public servants, Bill and Hillary, whose greatest contributions; without benefit of any personal ethics, has yet to be calculated. We do know of their 'harm done' however.
I would rather spend energy seeing that the counterfeit Clinton's paid their debt; before even considering that Rush owes us.
Rush, in the grander scheme; remains genuine in his attempts to deal with his addiction and is determined to overcome. And I remain grateful that he is 'out there' serving a higher interest.
As for even speculating on whether he was dealing; I would have to say; anyone who goes there; may be a victim of their own pain-killing medicine - or something equally potent. . .
Would also add, that there is a now a far greater threat to our well-being by those handling this case - than any threat Rush could or would, ever pose. . .and here is where the outrage should begin.
Puleease.
I cited the statutes that Rushie violated. And it looks like he also violated some currency transaction laws as well.
Face it. The honest truth is that you refuse to accept the fact that the War on Drugs has ensnared one of our own.
Wrong.
US v. Moffett
Rakas v. Illinois
US v. Payner
Jones v. US
Alderman v. US
???
WK Smith was acquitted.
Pineapple Manny was toast from the get-go.
Uhmm ... no. That's a question of law to be decided by the jury.
But I'm pleased that you're at least looking around for the light.
And umpteen million dittoheads.
I agree with much of what you have said, but disagree severely with that statement. He has done anything but deal with this like a man. He has hid behind legal advice, the public relations expertise of a large media conglomerate, has attempted to use the bully pulpit of his radio show to sway public opinion, made jokes about the reports so far and on and on and on. Even when he departed his show for rehab, his "from the heart" final comments were crafted and scripted by his legal and pr team, not delivered as they came to him as he closed his show. And now weeking a plea bargain?
Is that how a real man deals with adversity? I think not. It reminds me more of how a certain president before this one handled his problems. It reminds me of how he has skewered many others of using the same tactics when adversity has come their way. He has lamented the plea bargaining process as going soft on criminals.
A true real man lays it out and takes his licks. A slick real man of today using the tools Rush has used and at his disposal just as Rush has.
Rush has simply told his audience that the "rules, even the ones I've made through the years don't apply to me".
Sorry, had to get that off my chest. I don't hate Rush, but I do hate the way he has acted like every other foolish individual who's found himself in trouble and used our legal system to his advantage instead of letting justice takes it's course.
No, I believe there's more to this than just a bout with depression. Remember that he took great pains to keep under wraps why his hearing began to go away. Maybe it has to do with the drug use. There are other lifestyle reasons for this to happen in addition to the drugs in question. That could be the reason why they want it kept out of public view.
I would question that he did in fact defend Noriega.
He did however, defend Willima Kennedy Smith in his rape case. . .also regularly makes the list of 'The Best Lawyers in America'.
See no reason why Rush would choose less than the best, and Roy Black knows the people/politics of Miami/Dade, better than anyone.

I would suspect that being 'addicted' and NOT know when your supply may be cut off; one would be inclined to want to have a large or 'longtime' supply. . .or just have a tendency to want to hoarde . . .
This should not be surprising. . .but wanting to 'save your habit', is hard to justify perhaps, in moral/legal terms.
Yeah, they couldn't possibly be interested in introducing a little sanity into the system, now could they?
Where are the seizures, though? To make it a true WoDfest, the cops have to seize some of Rush's property. After all, that property---all of it---is guilty of being owned by a suspected drug dealer.
Suggesting that Ann Coulter isn't the hottest piece of *ss on Planet Earth is enough to make you a liberal around here, too!
