I understand your point, but disagree with the premise. I think this is bad for everyone including the GOP (but necessary) These warnings hurt business, and at this time of year may keep people apart.

I am sure that The President did not make this decision easily, and know for sure The previous President would not have had the guts or ethics to come to the decision to raise the warning.

During the campaign, Dean and the media can no longer say the President has not done enuf to protect us. This is a HUGE development.
