Great, now it will be almost impossible to do any plane spotting over the holidays. It is bad enough when the terror alert is Yellow but when it goes to Orange, airport employees and police go into Gestapo mode.

We do not have much air traffic landing in our little coastal area but today being Clear and Sunday they have been coming and going all day.

OMG the tower just sayed "it looks like they are going to try and land in the water" I hope they were being sacrcastic.

Anyway the air traffic has been non stop for the lil Cesna's and private planes.

I noticed a few called in to land and tower did not acknowledge or something and they had to come back around.

The pilots have all sounded upbeat and happy probably the view of our coast on a clear winter day. But you can note the frustration when they had to circle around to try and land a second time.

Monty22 we are really enjoying our scanner. Our community is small so we know who is who now.

Gives you a whole new appreciation for the workers behind the scenes keeping the roads cleared and electricity on ect...

Most of the stolen vehicles have had key in them. LOL Things have changed since I had a scanner years ago.

Cops are called routinely to come get vagrants out of churches. Irony.
