I don't see anyone wound up too tight. The reflex bash homeland security does get old and takes up bandwidth. We need two threads,,one for wisecracking and one for analyzing the news as we see it.

The problem is there is nothing to analyze: "Be vigilant" is useless non-information.

Either there is no credible threat and the warning is pure ass-coverage, or people are being left in the dark - and in danger - for the sake of government priorities.
