CBS never broke into its game to announce anything, did they?

They did cut to CBS News during the Rams-Bengals game. They also had a trailer at the bottom of the screen that appeared as soon as Ridge started making his announcement.

We were switching between the Bills and the Cowboys, so I might have missed it if our local affiliate dropped out for the national feed. Interesting choice if they didn't.
