To: what's up
Can't blame Elizabeth herself much for the bad stuff that happened. She was not the mposnter her father was nor the vixen her mother was. And growing up in Henry's household must have been aweful. Mary, I have read, showed her opinion of her father by having his remains dumpted into the Thames.

Come on! I can't imagine tha King Henry VIII's remains were dumped into the Thames!
Does that seem reasonable to you?

No, I don't blame Elizabeth at all.
By the way, I don't think any serious person thinks Henry's remains were thrown into the river.

You read wrong. Mary believed devoutly in the divine right of kings to rule, and that rulers were God's leftenants on earth. She would never have desecrated one of her peers thus.
