I just read an interesting tidbit reference soldiers being killed. Last month all we heard from all news sources was how things were getting so much worse, and that we had 11 soldiers killed...the most since the war began.

That is all well and good.

But look what just came out from CENTCOM:

"Brig. Gen. Mark Kimmitt, a spokesman for the military here, noted cautiously that fatal attacks on American soldiers were down significantly in December, compared with November, the deadliest month by far for soldiers here. A military Web site reports 11 American soldiers killed so far this month, compared with 81 in November"

I certainly do not want to jinx our troops, but I wonder if any news sources will make a big deal about this being the lightest month by far for casualties--both killed and wounded--since the war began. Hmmm. We will see.

I guess Bin Laden is not being as successful as he claims....

Opps...typo. We had 111 killed last month, not 11. Only 11 this month. 11 is still 11 we do not want to lose, ever. But a far cry from Vietnam.
