After the first successful Crusade the others failed because Western Europe could never really unite and fight together. The paradox is that it was mostly French, (Gallic), German (Germanic) Crusaders who were willing to fight in the early marches into Islam, and today it's been reversed. If only we can all unite this time around and finish the job.
I agree about the need for a united front, and this is especially true in the face of the current global jihad to make us dirty kuffar submit under the rule of the Dar al Islam...
The way the world looks today, with Europe submitting to self-enforced dhimmitude by the PC crowd, and Christianity getting most of its new followers in Africa, I see weird scenario if things do not change radically, that one day the world might see African Crusaders helping to liberate Europistan from Islamic oppression.
