Libya has apparently decided to come clean. As such, when this is verified, we should definitely lift sanctions. There is no reason for them, and good and civilized behavior should be rewarded.
This is a remarkable development, and one we would like to see repeated elsewhere.

just had an out there thought....medicine and Docs
of war times are those who see the blood, labored life
and yet are soldiers as well. In a way Docs see tripe duty.
Medically, soldierly,and humanly. Tough great men and
women all. How fitting then to see a field Doc setting
the visual you think of Saddam when you close your eyes.

OK, the reward is that we do not nuke Tripoli. I'd say the "reward" ought to be a one-way ticket for Khaddafi to come to the U.S. and stand trial for the Pan Am 107 attack.
