You came to FreeRepublic yesterday in order to post your support for the legalization of drug sales to children?... I don't support selling drugs to children. Another poster made an ignorant statement and I corrected him.
There are several kinds of ideal solutions to the drug problem around. You could legalize marijuana and anything else no worse than alcohol and keep the rest of it illegal, or you could set up government shoot-up sites for people addicted to the hard stuff. The idea is to take all the money out of it for criminals.
But you'd be better off to simply legalize it all than to do what we're doing now. A hundred years ago there was no "war on drugs" and there were no drug problems worth worrying about. Doesn't the reason for that seem obvious?

if the drug problem was not worth worrying about they wouldn't have banned them.

Of course, two hundred years ago there were no powerful moral-liberal groups extolling hedonism and proselytizing selfishness and personal irresponsibility and rebellion against God and society.

Where? All I see is you flippantly claiming that children shouldn't expect to have narcotics delivered to them because the local Five and Dime store doesn't make deliveries. Where in your statements is there any indication that you believe there should be any prohibition on the sale of narcotics to minors?

Legalize it all. Eliminate the usefulness of drug lords, smugglers, coastal interdiction and courts' time. Establish safe sites for junkies to "light up/shoot". Have the junkies buy a $2000 (or such) "insurance" policy to dispose of their carcasses after the inevitable OD.
