When James Baker 111 Travels to France, Germany, Italy and Russia, and in less then a week, they all fall in line, he was carrying a powerful message. The complete capitulation of Mr. Khadafy is icing on the cake. Mr. Khadafy apparently prefers three hots and a cot in his palace, then candy bars in a spider hole. There is a huge story in progress the press is missing, the story that history books 50 and 100 yrs. from now, will cover in complete detail and with every nuance. I wish I could live long enough to see it, and be able to say, "I saw it then"....!

Jim Baker is something. When he got called into Florida I felt much surer of the final outcome. I'd like to have him negotiating with St Peter on my behalf but I've already retained Torie. LOL

Totally agree that this week is one heck of a week for President Bush. The dims are finished with all these unilateralist claims, and isn't it amazing that Libya started to talk about disarmament right at the time we kick Saddam's butt - me sure the left will argue this Khadafy thing belongs to the work of the Clinton diplomacy team - no matter how weak that link, if exist at all, might be.
